What is the warranty on this product?

It has a warranty of 1 year. There is a gift in the box. If you read it you will know (\(^_^)/)

What are the system requirements for the BTSOLARKEYSG?

Any Mac computer with a Bluetooth host.

Mac OS X v10.6 to Mac OS X v10.13 and above

Why are there scratches on the Solar Panels? Is it used?

The scratches are on a thin layer of film. It is not used. Please pull the film off. If you cannot find a good area to pull the film off please contact us so we can give you a picture of where is the best area to pull the film off.

Why does this keyboard go to sleep?

Because this keyboard has a built-in energy saving feature. It goes to sleep when it is not used in a period of time. To wake it up please press any key like the space bar etc. to wake the keyboard up.

My computer has a password and now I am afraid to type my password since my keyboard went to sleep. What shall I do?

Press spacebar and wait for a little bit. Once the keyboard wakes up then please proceed to type your password.

What happens if I get a keyboard that is warped and it seesaws? 

You can either bend the keyboard for a little bit. (You can do it but it is not recommended) or you can contact us so we can do it for you.

I have encountered some keys not working properly. What can I do? I need a working keyboard.

Please contact us immediately so we can replace it for you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If your keyboard is in the pairing process and the LED light is not flashing fast enough. Please re-pair the device again. Please press FN and P simultaneously.

  • How to Pair the BTSOLARKEYSG (In Step Format)

STEP 1: Press FN and P simultaneously.

STEP 2: Click on Bluetooth icon on the top right corner.

STEP 3: Click on Open Bluetooth Preferences... to look at Bluetooth Window Display.

STEP 4: Find MACALLY BTSOLARKEYSG KEYBOARD and click pair to get a connected status.

STEP 1: Once you plug or pair the keyboard to your Macbook or iMac series you will get a pop-up window on your screen.

STEP 2: It will first tell you to press a blank key on the right of the long blank button. Let us explain, in this diagram on your computer, the "long blank button" is the "Shift" key. The key to the right of the "long blank button is the "Z" key. Please press the "Z" key.

STEP 3: Then it will tell you to press a blank key on the left. Let us explain, in this diagram on your computer, the "long blank button" is the "Shift" key. The key to the left of the "long blank button is the "?/" key. Please press the "?/" key.

STEP 4: Please select the layout that you want. There are three choices. Majority of the customers live in the United States of America which means to select ANSI. (United States and Others)

STEP 5: Click "Done" and you may now use Macally Keyboards on your Mac.
