Before anything: Please go to the system's preferences then click on Bluetooth

Step 1: Put two AAA batteries in the back.

Step 2: Switch this device from OFF to ON.

Step 3: Press the BT<>CAL until you see -----PC-----

Step 5: Click on Pair or Connect in the Bluetooth Settings.

Answer 2: Look at the steps below.

 

Windows PC

Before anything: Please go to the windows then click on settings. After that In Windows PC, go to Devices and Printers and select Bluetooth Devices. Click “Add a device” at the top left corner.

Step 1: Put two AAA batteries in the back.

Step 2: Switch this device from OFF to ON.

Step 3: Press the BT<>CAL until you see -----PC-----

Step 5: Once you see the Macally Bluetooth Keypad appear, select it and press “Next

Step 6: After a short period, Windows will show the following screen indicating that the keypad is now paired with the computer. Any necessary drivers will install automatically. Please note that the driver installation may take a few minutes. Windows will notify you when the keypad is ready to use.

 

Question 3: How Do I Pair My BTCALKEY to my iPhone and iPad?

Answer 3: Look at the steps below.

Step 1: To connect the Bluetooth keypad to your iPad or iPhone, bring them together within 1ft range.

Step 2: Then turn on the keypad, press and hold down the blue Pair key for 3-5 seconds, pairing light flashes blue to indicate the keypad is in pairing mode.

Step 3: In your iPad or iPhone, go to Settings, select Bluetooth, under OTHER DEVICES, find and tap on the Macally keypad to connect.

Step 4: Once the keypad appears as "Connected" in Bluetooth, you are ready to use it

Step 1: To connect the Bluetooth keypad to your Android device, bring them together within 1ft range.

Step 2: Then turn on the keypad, press and hold down the blue Pair key for 3-5 seconds, pairing light flashes blue to indicate the keypad is in pairing mode.

Step 3: In your Android device, go to Settings, select Connected devices, make sure Bluetooth is on, tap to open Bluetooth, tap on Pair new devices, and tap to select the discovered Macally keypad to pair.

Step 4: Once the keypad appears Connected in the list, you are ready to use it.

 

Question 5: I have paired it before but all of a sudden it stopped working. What do I do? (Mac)

Answer 5: Let's try troubleshooting. Below are some methods that may fix issues. Troubleshooting tips below:

Method 1: Change the battery. The battery might be low.

Method 2: Pram Reset (For Mac Only)

  1. Make sure that you have a keyboard that works (A must)
  2. Shut off the computer.
  3. Turn on the computer then press and hold "Command" + "Option" + "P" + "R"
  4. Once you hear three chimes let go and try to re-pair the BTNUMKEY again.

Method 3: Reset Bluetooth Module

  1. Make sure that you have a keyboard that works (A must)
  2. Using a working keyboard press and hold both Shift + Option and click on the Bluetooth icon on the menu bar.
  3. Click on Debug.
  4. Click on Reset Bluetooth Module.
  5. Restart your computer.

 

Question 6: I have paired it before but all of a sudden it stopped working. What do I do? (For Windows 10)

Method 2: Make sure Bluetooth is turned on (For Windows 10 Only)

If you're using a laptop with a physical Bluetooth switch on the body, make sure it’s switched on.

In Windows 10, there are two ways to check if Bluetooth is turned on. Here’s how:

  • Check in the taskbar. Select action center ( or ). If you don’t see Bluetooth, select Expand to reveal Bluetooth, then select Bluetooth to turn it on. You’ll see “Not connected” if your Windows 10 device isn’t paired to any Bluetooth accessories.

  • Check-in Settings. Select Select the Start button, then select Settings  > Devices   > Bluetooth & other devices. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

Method 3: Check your Bluetooth device (For Windows 10 Only)

Make sure your device is turned on, is charged or has fresh batteries, and is in range of the PC you want to connect to. Then, try the following:

  • Turn off your Bluetooth device, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

  • Make sure your Bluetooth device is in range. If your Bluetooth device is unresponsive or sluggish, check to make sure it’s not too close to any other USB device that’s plugged into a USB 3.0 port. Unshielded USB devices can sometimes interfere with Bluetooth connections.

Method 4: On the PC you want to pair to (For Windows 10 Only)

  • Make sure airplane mode is off Select Start, then select Settings  > Network & Internet  > Airplane mode. Make sure Airplane mode is turned off.

  • Turn Bluetooth on and off: Select Start, then select Settings  > Devices  > Bluetooth & other devices. Turn off Bluetooth, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

  • Remove the Bluetooth device, then add it again: Select Start, then select Settings  > Devices  > Bluetooth & other devices... In Bluetooth, select the device you’re having problems connecting to, and then select Remove device > Yes.
