How to sync keyboards with 3 devices (Directions)

SIX IMPORTANT NOTES

Note 1: You can pair three devices with these keyboards. B1 is Bluetooth channel 1, B2 is Bluetooth channel 2, and B3 is Bluetooth channel 3.

Note 2: How to change the Bluetooth Channels with these keyboards. FN+1 (Number row), FN+2 (Number Row), and FN+3 (Number Row)

Note 3: Do not press FN+P this will make things messy.

Note 4: Can be paired with any system that has Bluetooth in it.

Note 5: These can be in any order, you do not need to pair all of the channels as well.

Note 6:  Q1 instructions for MAC, Q2 instructions for IPHONE/IPAD, Q3 instructions for ANDROID, Q4 instructions for PC.

Question 1:  FOR MAC.   How to pair a BTMINIKEY, ACEBTKEY, ACEBTKEYA, ACEBTKEYSG, BTSOLARKEYA, and BTSOLARKEYSG for Mac using B1?

Answer 1: Look at the steps below.

Step 1:  Go to System Preferences on your Mac.

Step 2: Click on Bluetooth.

Step 3: Switch the keyboard on. (If you have the BTMINIKEY then please skip to Step 3B).

Step 3B: If it is the BTMINIKEY put the battery in first then switch the keyboard on.

Step 4: The B1 LED light on the top right should be flashing rapidly already. ( If not flashing, you can press and hold the FN key and press the 1 key on the number row once you see the B1 LED light flash on the top right you can let go of these two keys).

Step 5: Once the Bluetooth Device list sees Macally...Bluetooth Keyboard, click on "Pair or Connect" depending on the OS version of your Mac.

Step 6: Your Mac should automatically pop up a screen that says "Keyboard Setup Assistant". (If not look at Step 6B.)

Step 6B: If your Mac DOES NOT automatically pop up a screen please follow these steps below.

Step 6B.1: Click on System Preferences

Step 6B.2: Click on Keyboard.

Step 6B.3: Make sure that the tab "Keyboard" is selected.

Step 6B.4: On the bottom left of the window, it will say Change Keyboard Type and you click on it.

Step 7: Read the prompt then click on continue.

Step 8: You will see the shift key on the window and there is a blank key on the right of it. Press the letter "Z" once on the Macally Bluetooth Keyboard.

Step 9: Now you will see the shift key on the right and there is a blank key on the left of it. Press the "/?" once on the Macally Bluetooth Keyboard.

Step 10: Now on your screen, you will see these three choices: ANSI, JIS, and ISO. Choose ANSI then click on done.

NOTE: If you want to pair these keyboards with all the Bluetooth channels, when you are done pairing B1 DO NOT press FN+1. You will mess up your pairing.

Question 2: FOR IPHONE/IPAD.  How to pair a BTMINIKEY, ACEBTKEY, ACEBTKEYA, ACEBTKEYSG, BTSOLARKEYA, and BTSOLARKEYSG for an iPhone or an iPad for B2?

Answer 2: Look at the steps below.

Step 1:  Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Press on Bluetooth.

Step 3: Switch the keyboard on. (If you have the BTMINIKEY then please skip to Step 3B).

Step 3B: If it is the BTMINIKEY put the battery in first then switch the keyboard on.

Step 4: Press and hold FN and press the number 2 key on the number row.

Step 5: The B2 LED light on the top right should be flashing rapidly.

Step 6: Once the Bluetooth Device list sees Macally...Bluetooth Keyboard with the word Connect, tap on the Macally...Bluetooth Keyboard once.

Step 6: Once you see Macally...Bluetooth Keyboard with the word "Connected" then you are all set.

NOTE: If you want to pair these keyboards with all the Bluetooth channels, when you are done pairing B1 and B2 DO NOT press FN+1 and FN+2. You will mess up your pairing.

Question 3: FOR ANDROID. How to pair a BTMINIKEY, ACEBTKEY, ACEBTKEYA, ACEBTKEYSG, BTSOLARKEYA, and BTSOLARKEYSG for an android or tablets for B3?

Answer 3: Look at the steps below.

Question 4: FOR PC. How to pair a BTMINIKEY, ACEBTKEY, ACEBTKEYA, ACEBTKEYSG, BTSOLARKEYA, and BTSOLARKEYSG for a PC for B3?

Answer 4: Look at the steps below.

Step 1: Click on the start menu.

Step 2: Click on the Settings Icon.

Step 3: Click on Find a Setting and type in Bluetooth. Then click on Bluetooth & Other Devices.

Step 4: Click add Bluetooth or Other Devices

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth

Step 6: Press and hold FN and press the number 3 key on the number row.

Step 7: The B3 LED light on the top right should be flashing rapidly

Step 8: Once you see Macally...Bluetooth Keyboard under Add a Device click on it.

Step 9: Once the window Your Device is Ready to Go, click on done.
